My GOD, where to begin... O_O ok, so this piece was kind of a promise. I decided to try to draw Grav in a more realistic fashion, while giving more freedom to the brushstrokes and such. I kind of consider the outcome interesting, knowing I'm usually very strict with outlines n'all. No reference what so ever, which was a pain in the you-know-where, making me kind of figure out where the heck I should place lighting and shadows. still think some of the tones may be too light, but I don't dislike it.
So the setting'd be the last CoronaMortis tournament (it's a shame the character covers up the stadium in the back ). Didn't know what background to give it, but a sky's always a good option, neh?
I love him. It's nice to see him this way, though now I can honestly say as much as I pour love and care into my work on him.. I do not do him proper justice...
I think you did great with no reference.. can't wait to see what else you may turn out with promises...
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes. Please read this article for more information on how you can participate!
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
